About Me

Hiya!

I am an actress, writer, producer, and one of six daughters from Atlanta, Georgia. I remember the moment I decided to be an actress: I was five years old and went to see The Color Purple on Broadway. Music was playing as we exited the theater, so naturally, I came out dancing. Before I knew it, I was dancing my heart out for a crowd full of people who thought I was that little girl from the show… and that was the moment I knew I wanted to be a performer, just like her. From that moment on, it was clear to me that I was a performer and storyteller, and this was what I wanted to do with my life.

I studied theater at the age of 16 at Interlochen Arts Academy. Before attending boarding school, my first intro to performance was as part of The Youth Ensemble of Atlanta. Growing up as one of the only Black performers in my community, I was encouraged to create my own work and craft my voice as a Black artist. I am inspired by multi-hyphenated creators like Issa Rae, Donald Glover, Quinta Brunson, and Lin Manuel-Miranda.

I am an avid traveler and spent last year driving across the country from Georgia to Los Angeles, and then I spent the summer backpacking around Europe solo. I enjoy yoga, reading, biking, and being outdoors.
